Donations for Down’s

Each year on March 21st, Ocean Hotels Barbados proudly joins the global celebration of World Down Syndrome Day, supporting the ‘End the Stereotypes’ campaign.

Book Donations

We’ve connected with neighboring schools to donate over 100 story books and reference materials to expand the imaginations of students. We also continue to partner with local charity, ‘The Variety Club Barbados’, which provides school uniforms, books, backpacks, and school supplies to over 300 children from 200 families across Barbados.

We also continue to partner with local charity, ‘The Variety Club Barbados’, which provides school uniforms, books, backpacks and school supplies to over 300 children from 200 families across Barbados. The concept is to provide equal opportunity for all children.

As part of the ‘Pack for A Purpose’ initiative, guests are encouraged to use extra space in their luggage to travel with school supplies which are then donated to this charity.

Linen Donations

As part of our Health & Wellness programmes, we donate beds, linens, and hampers to neighbouring nursing homes.
