Marriage License Requirements
Getting married in Barbados is easy and we can guide you through the whole process. Application for a marriage license must be made by both parties in person at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office from Monday to Friday (8:30 am to 3:00 pm). Our Weddings Coordinators will accompany you, but please note, professional attire is required.

Documents Required
- Valid Passports or the original certified copies of the applicant's birth certificate.
- If either party was married previously and widowed, a certified copy of the Marriage Certificate and a Death Certificate is required in respect of the deceased spouse.
- If either party was divorced, an original Decree Absolute of a certified copy of Final Judgment, not the Decree Nisi.
- If the Bride or Groom is not a citizen or resident of Barbados, return airline tickets must be presented.
Kindly inform your Wedding Coordinator of your nationality, if any other documentation is required.
